Richard M. Nash, with a binational background, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in intercultural Communication from International Christian University (ICU), one of Japan’s top private universities.  He obtained his M.B.A. in Finance from the prestigious John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.

During his professional career, he has continually traversed between the two countries. He has worked for premier Japanese and American companies in both the U.S. and Japan and has been instrumental in initiating and maintaining smooth business relations between the two cultures for over 15 years.

Owing to his unique background, he is intimately familiar with the intricacies of business relations between the two cultures-most important from both theoretical and paractical points of view. Combined with his extensive network in Japan, Richard M. Nash is indeed uniquely qualified to serve as a facilitator of intercultural business relations between the U.S. and Japan, and IVJ is proud to have him on the team!
